Laying on the Isola Sacra of Fiumicino and opening on the Tiber River only 3 km away from the mouth, the Alfamarine is easily reachable from the Rome Fiumicino international airport. The shipyard consists of 3 main buildings: a shed (with large covered spaces for yachts under processing, the mechanical workshop, the carpentry, the tech department, the electrical workshop, and 2 pressurized paint spraying booths), a tension structure (for the only garaging of yachts) and a building that includes the administrative office and the internal upholstery. These, together with the vast external spaces of 4 main areas, guarantee a large garaging capability for yacht up to 27 meters. Moreover, the dock has several docking spots each one with electrical sockets, drinkable water and Wi-Fi connection.

The yachts up to 30 tons of weight are launched and hauled with a crane, while those up to 27 meters of length through a traditional slipway. Thanks to a motorized transporter for boats, the shifting in the yard is rapid and safe.
